Labor day falls on a Tuesday this year making for a nice four day weekend. Traditionally Labor Day is considered the last major Holiday of the summer. A day set aside for the common working man to have a day away from work. In today’s society traditional holidays tend to make more work for those the day is designed to represent. Those celebrating the holiday require supplies and services causing more work for the working man. In my opinion the only people that benefit from the day are government employees that have a 9 to 5 work day. So much for holidays.
